Inexpensive Wedding Favors
Michelle Keefe
Wedding favors do not need to be the most expensive and lavish of items. Wedding favors should be a memento or keepsake item for the guests of the wedding to take with them at the end of the event. There is no reason that cheap wedding favors cannot be as elegant or special as expensive wedding favors.
There are two types of inexpensive wedding favors: purchased wedding favors and homemade wedding favors. Either can save the bride and groom money while still offering take-home favors for the guests.
Numerous websites advertise cheap wedding favors and small items that come inexpensively personalized with the names of the bride and groom and the wedding date. These personalized favors can be anything from a bottle of bubbles to napkins and imprinted votive candles. These items cost less than a few dollars each, with an item like bubbles costing less than one dollar per favor. A simple internet search can provide numerous wedding favor websites to visit. Also consider looking at websites that offer promotional items that businesses might use for advertising. These small, personalized items such as pens, pencils or letter openers are perfect to use as wedding favors.
Another idea for cheap wedding favors is a homemade item. An example might be a small trinket box filled with mints, which has a personalized printed sticker on the top of the box with the bride and groom's names and wedding date. A picture of the bride and groom in a decorated envelope would also make an inexpensive, personal and memorable wedding favor.
When making wedding favors, just remember to incorporate your wedding colors on whatever you decide upon, and personalize them with your names and wedding date. Nearly anything personalized to the bride and groom would make a great favor at their wedding.
